Humus content in Chernozems and Kastanozems(chestnut soils)from specially protected areas in Rostov region,Russia

摘要

The study of soils in protected and reserved areas indicated that they could serve as reference soils while conducting monitoring observations for both arable lands and those with a different type of land use.Standing mode contributes to humus recovery in Chernozems and Kastanozems in virgin and long-standing soils,weighted average indicators of humus content(for 25-cm soil depth)appear to be 0.4–3.0% higher than in arable soils.
