The effect of seasonal changes in qualitative and quantitative NOM content in water of Dnieper River on the efficiency of their removal in the ozonation – coagulation processes of drinking water t reatment has been studied. Synergism of the preozonation and coagulation combination at a fixed coagulant dose was shown. Ozone dose using in a range 3.2-3.5 mg/L and coagulant dose 100 mg/L are the most appropriate in summer months when the content of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) in water is increased and the content of NOMand humic fraction of it in water are the highest. Increasing of the biodegradable organic carbon (BDOC) part is not observed at these doses.
