Comparative Clinical Avian and Reptile Hematology

Interpretation of the avian and reptile hemogram can be complex and confusing. While subtle differences exist in the non-diseased patient, their response to disease is quite varied. Comparative hematologic changes in the response to bacterial, fungal, viral, parasitic, and toxins will be presented. Interpretation of the hemogram with prognostic evaluation will also be addressed.
