The Partition and Characteristic of Coal-bearing Structure Unit in Hebei Province

Combined with geotectonic element and coal-bearing unit, coal-bearing structure unit is divided in Hebei Province in the paper, which is an attempt of researching on coalfield structure. According to coal accumulation, tectonic-thermal evolution history and current tectonic framework, the area of Hebei province is divided into northeast and north china coal-bearing region, and the coal-bearing region of north china is divided into five coal-bearing structure zones: the eastern slopes of the Taihang mountains zone (I); Hebei plain zone (II); the southern slopes of the Yanshan mountain zone (III); Yamshan mountain zone (IV); northern Hebei zone (V). The division of coal-bearing structure unit has a guiding significance of looking for coalfield prospecting target region.
