In recent years, fruitful achievements have been made in studying gold mineralization related with ductile-shear zone. Specialists on geochemistry, economic geology and structural geology have being concerned with and studied the spatial and intrinsic relationship between the ductile shear zone and the deposits related with it. Significant achievements have been made in the studies on macro phenomena of ore-controlling structures, the quantitative analysis of chemical and geochemical composition, and the deformation simulation of ductile shear zone. The research method has transformed from qualitative to quantitative for studying the gold deposits related with ductile-shear zone. The Sunitezuoqi gold deposit is located at the southeastern margin of Siberia, which is just in the north side of the collision belt between North China plate and Siberia plate. The structural movement, magmatism and metallogenetism are well developed in this area, and geological conditions are complex. Activities of ductile shear zone not only provide space for the formation of gold deposit, but also lead to shear fracturing at the same structural level where ductile deformation develops. The high temperature and rapid pressure dropping may result in the hydrothermal fluid migration and ore-forming material accumulation, and then result in the formation of gold deposit.
