Actually in Poland and Europe as well, possibilities of low-cost energy harvesting are almost depleted. Apart from growing energy costs, Poland must solve the problems related with growing dependence on gas & oil import, i.e. resources, which are strategic from strategic from the point of view of energetic safety, including constant influence of so far exploited energy carriers onto climate changes. Changes of the Earth climate constitute serious worldwide problem. The changes result mainly from growing consumption of energy resources, which emit greenhouse gasses, particularly carbon dioxide. It is assumed that 80% of emission of these gasses in EU is a product of energy processes. This problem is considered in European Union as very serious. In result, European Commission has proposed reduction of the greenhouse gasses before the year 2020 at least with 20%, as compared with the year 1990, independently on the result of international settlements.
