EXPLORING THE INTEGRATION PROFILE OF ENTREPRENEURIAL INTENTION: AN EMPIRICAL STUDY IN CHINESE HIGH-TECH INDUSTRIAL CLUSTERS

摘要

This study introduces and validates a measure of integration profile for entrepreneurial intention consisting of entrepreneurial personality, entrepreneurial capability, social network and institutional environment dimensions. The study is carried out by conducting investigation among middle and high level managers working in High-tech industrial clusters. By using PCA, DSA and ANOVA analysis, the result indicates that the influence of personality and capability on entrepreneurial intention is higher than that of social network and institutional environment dimensions. In addition, the age and position have significant impact on entrepreneurial intention while gender, education background and subject not.
