Investigation of the silencing effect of siRNA and s-DNA-signal peptide conjugates targeting hTERT resulted in a significant decrease of hTERT mRNA expression and telomerase activity. They also caused suppression of cell proliferation in 3 human cancer cell lines namely: Jurkat, HeLa and K562.
