This initial dialog has identified that there is no national standard for pipe color for various types of water (potable, reclaimed, graywater, etc.), only several standards used by industry professional groups within their circle of experience. As systems expand and the value of water increases, the need for common utility identification onsite with offsite public utilities will need resolution.
