Biodegradable elastomeric polymers have recently gained considerable attention in controlled-drug delivery and tissue engineering. Herein, we report on the synthesis, characterization and in vitro/in vivo evaluation of a novel family of visible-light photocrosslinked poly (diol-co-tricarballylate) [PDT] elastomers intended for use in controlled-drug delivery and tissue engineering applications.
