Automated, High Confidence Phosphorylation Site Localization Using a Combination of CID and ETD MS/MS Spectra.

We show that using both CID and ETD spectra, yields more confident phosphorylation sites. Combined scoring gives confidence in additional sites. The implementation makes it easy to quickly evaluate large datasets. Applying the score to phosphopeptides with known phosphorylation sites could be used to further evaluate the quality of the score.
