The LC/MS/MS methods developed for the quantitation of intracellular metabolites of INX-189 contributed significantly to the understanding of the in vivo metabolism, activation and pharmacodynamics of this important HCV therapeutic agent which is currently being studied in phase 1b clinical trials.
