Tracking Metabolism of the NSAID Sulindac: From HPLC-UV to HPLC-MS/MS

We have developed and tested a method using mixed mode SPE and HPLC-MS/MS to quantify the NSAID sulindac and its metabolites in plasma. We achieved an over-all 100-fold increase in sensitivity compared to a previous HPLC-UV method. We were able to track the metabolism of sulindac for 48 hours, 6 times longer than was possible with the original method.
