摘要

Isolated a broad MW range of proteins and peptides from alligator leukocyte. Less complex leukocyte fraction narrowed AMP activity to two peptides. Ion mobility separated two similar mass peptides from active fraction and MS provided partial fragmentation. Homology comparison showed approx 33percent comparison to amphibian beta-defensin. Tryptic peptides were determined from insolution digestion, however little peptide overlap was observed when compared to the intact peptide sequence.
