This paper examines two different methods by which the error propagated through a model used in precision agriculture, may be calculated. The two methods are an analytical method, referred to here as a Taylor series method, and the Monte Carlo simulation method when a Gaussian assumption is made about the input error distribution. This somewhat contradicts what is known about the statistical distribution of typical input data sets which more often tend to be skewed.
