In this second clinical workshop we will discuss medical treatment of pituitary pars intermedia dysfunction (PPID) and Equine Metabolic Syndrome (EMS). These endocrine disorders require management as well as medical treatment, so it is important institute appropriate housing, diet, and exercise changes. These management changes have been reviewed elsewhere, so this discussion will focus upon treatment options.
