Asia:The Emerging Giant of the Olefin Industry

摘要

The Asia region is the emerging Giant of the olefin industry.This paper explains the size of the current Asian olefin Giant,the expected future growth of this Giant,and the long-term survival of this Giant during the upcoming profitability downturn for the global petrochemical industry.Asia is very large in terms of land mass,population,and economic growth.In particular,China and India will be the key countries of the world that will drive growth in manufacturing,thirst for raw materials,and ultimately demand for consumer goods.
