ACCURACY OF ELISA TEST FOR DETECTION OF CLASSICAL SWINE FEVER ANTIBODIES IN WILD BOARS

Classical swine fever (CSF) is an often fatal viral disease affecting pigs and wild boar (Sus scrofa). The wild boar is regarded as a reservoir for CSF virus and as a possible source of infection for domestic pigs (1-3). The aim of our study was to assess the accuracy of ELISA for detection of CSF antibodies in wild boar.
