Information Technology for Distance Education in Developing Countries

摘要

The state of Information and communication Technology (ICT) resources in developing countries creates a barrier for successful deployment of distance education programs. This work presents a general overview of the use of ICT in developing countries,surveys current technologies used in education and summarizes approaches that were successful in the past. In addition, it explores avenues for delivery of educational materials under the current state of technology.
