Biological toxins are relevant in the security, health and food sectors. Development of new analytical methods for rapid and unambiguous identification of low toxin concentrations in various complex matrices is essential. We reported previously a method based on LC-ESI-MS/MS for abrin quantification in food and environmental matrices [1]. Here, immuno-MALDI-TOFMS was evaluated for rapid and chromatographyfree quantification of abrin.
