摘要

In car crushes finger amputations are characterized by soft tissue defects. Digital replantations performed in this kind of conditions (including vessels defects), the biggest problem is to perform the vascular anastomosis without any tension. A good solution is the "vascular transposition" realized by lengthening the proximal end both in the case of the arterial and venous pedicle, using the collateral branches adjacent to the insufficient proximal ends. The main advantage is that only one vascular suture must be performed. Moreover, the used vessels (arterial or venous) have the same caliber as that of the distal end. The arterial variant disadvantage is the decrease of the arterial flow for the adjacent finger. The venous variant has no major disadvantages.
