摘要

Hydrogel nanoparticles were able to isolate and concentrate native, intact peptides from the blood of Komodo dragon. PEAKS de novo software was able to sequence nearly 300 peptides to chose from for antimicrobial effectiveness. We were able to successfully identify and sequence 8 native peptides showing antimicrobial activity from the blood of Komodo dragons using only 100μL of plasma and in a very short time frame.
