Herein, we isolated serum exosomes from patients with pancreatic cancer, then identified and quantified exosome proteins using iTRAQ labeling and mass spectrometry analysis. After the chemo-treatment, we found 4 proteins up-regulated including obscurin-like 1 (OBSL1), transferrin receptor protein 1 (CD71), platelet facotor (PF4), and 4 proteins down-regulated including vimentin. During the radio-treatment, we found 3 proteins up-regulated and 2 proteins down-regulated compared to the baseline time point. For the two treatments, OBSL1, PF4 (up-regulated) and vimentin (down-regulated) are common changed proteins. These differentially expressed proteins could provide predictive and prognostic information for selecting the appropriate treatment.
