摘要

Glycosphingolipids (GSLs) are complex biomolecules which are randomly distributed in the cell membrane and found as clusters in "lipid rafts" in the cell membrane. GSLs are involved in many biological functions such as ontogenesis (development of an organism), cell differentiation, cell adhesion and recognition, signal transduction and immunogenicity. Ceramide is the core structure of GSLs and it is a sphingoid base with an amide-linked fatty acid.
