EFFECT OF INTRACORONARY ACETYLCHOLINEINJECTION ON THE ELECTROCARDIOGRAM IN PATIENTSWITH BRUGADA SYNDROME

摘要

Augmentation of the ST segment elevation in the right precordial leads was induced in 6 (37.5%) of 16 patients with the Brugada syndrome by the right coronary injection of Ach. Coronary artery spasm was induced in 8 (50%) of 16 patients by the Ach injection. Decrease of Ca inward currents by vagal stimulation and increase of transient outward currents in right ventricular epicardium with Ach result augmentation of the ST segment elevation of the right precordial leads.
