摘要

The measurements of indoor Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) concentrations in three energy-efficient timber frame houses at different construction stages revealed a high decrease of VOC concentrations over the construction period and a high pollution to xylenes and ethylbenzene due to the emissions of polyurethane adhesive mastic used as sealing material. Combined analysis of the concentration profiles and material emission profiles allows to investigate the contributions of VOC sources and the changes in chemical composition indoors during the construction process.
