Calibration Data Management: Collecting and Reporting Quality Information

摘要

This paper is about collecting and reporting quality information using computer software in the calibration lab. This task could be accomplished with paper and pencil, but the advantages of automating data collection and reporting have been previously documented. It is based on examining the data collecting and reporting requirements of ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994. Calibration laboratories who comply with Z540 also comply with ISO 9000, ISO/IEC guide 25 and Mil-Std 45662A, as Z540 includes the requirements from these documents relevant to calibration activities.
