A cooling system of pumped two-phase fluid loop and diamond microchannel was illustrated for heat removal for high power payload in space. In the system, the measured cooling capability was obtained 271 W/cm~2, which was verified by on-board and terrestrial experiment. The system worked very well with the two-phase accumulator to control the temperature of microchannel heat sinks. Furthermore, the similarity between on-board and terrestrial results of heat transfer and flow demonstrates the gravity-independence design which is critical in space application.
