摘要

Dissolved Organic Matter(DOM)plays a significant role in the soil system affecting the transport of metals and colloids and microbial activity.The DOM can be fractionated by a XAD-8 resin into hydrophilic(HI)and hydrophobic(HO)fractions characterised by different chemical composition.The HI fractions of soil DOM contain simple organic acids,polyhydroxy phenols,carbohydrates,amino acids and amino sugars,while the HO fractions consist mostly of phenols,hydrocarbons,fatty acids,nucleic acids,and quinones.Metal transport seems to be more affected by the HI fraction,whereas hydrophobic micropollutants interact preferentially with the HO fraction.
