Hybrid-phonon resonance in the three-dimensional quantum wire

摘要

The intraband absorption of electromagnetic radiation by a quantum wire is studied. It is shown that the scattering of electrons by optical phonons leads to the resonance absorption. Explicit formula is derived for the absorption coefficient. The relative intensities of the resonance peaks are analyzed.
