摘要

Ketene dithioacetals have become of interest to organic chemists for theoretical and preparative purposes,originally synthesized by Freund in 1919.Since the sulfur atom exercises a stabilizing effect on both neighboring positive and negative charges,one of the major interests in ketene dithioacetal chemistry clearly stems from the potential use of them in masking acyl anions,enolate cations,homoenolate anions or their vinylogues.
