Saving Resources in the Manufacture of Detergent Powders

摘要

A case study for a reconstructed detergent plant evaluating the stages of the detergent manufacturing process illustrates that resources can be conserved in each area; however, the biggest gains were in the areas of raw materials handling, spray drying, and airlifting processes. Mathematical models for the melting of synthetic fatty acids by light radiation indicate that it is possible to decrease the discharge time of transport vessels and the energy utilized.
