The 'Real McCoy' real time ultrasound scanner

Design of the "Real McCoy" pioneered a new concept in ultrasound to provide for total mobile scanning. Over the past years all scanners offered in the veterinary and animal health care industry assumed, and most of the time required, that the animal was brought to the scanner. E.I. Medical envisioned a new concept, including a headset that displays the scanner images for procedures in doors or out of doors. This brought to the forefront a scanner that could now be taken to the animal. This total mobility concept has revolutionized the daily use of real time ultrasound technology for very early pregnancy confirmation in sows, resulting in reported dramaticly reduced sow non-productive days.
