摘要

An approach of nonlinear feedback control for generating chaos in third-order linear autonomous continuous-time systems is proposed. With a simple nonlinear feedback control, chaotic dynamics can be generated in the controlled systems. The nonlinearity of the controller can be the forms of a piecewise-linear function, a cubic function, and a piecewise quadratic function, respectively. The circuitry implementation of the controlled systems, and the chaotic attractors observed by simulation and experimental measurement are demonstrated.
