ECONOMIC ASSESSMENT OF LIFE CYCLE ANALYSIS OF COAL PRODUCTION AND USE PROCESS

Life cycle assessment is slowly going to be a must for almost all types of industries having the potential to remain in the natural cycle over a long time. In the era of heightened environmental awareness and public response the competitiveness will depend on the ability to reduce the burden of environmental lifecycle costing by sharing the cost and benefits between the partners. In this paper such a case between a mine and a power plant is discussed.
