ANTIGEN FROM S. CHOLERASUIS FOR SALMONELLOSIS DIAGNOSTIC SEROLOGIC TEST IN PIGS

The pigs subclinically infected while S. cholerasuis are considered the most important source of infection in the form and the clinical pictures can be trigged by immunosupressing or stressing events such as a viral infection. An infected form is a source of two types of problems: As disease for pigs wich can be caused by S. cholerasuis, S. typhisuis and S. typhimurium. Public health problem salmonellosis is as zoonotic disease and an infected farm, with or without serious can act as a source of infection for humans. Salmonella cholerasuis belongs to the salmonellae family and is a Gram-negative bacillus. It is closely related both by morphology and physiologyStudy I other genera of the Enterobacteriaceae family, non fomenters of lactose, sacarose,indol, or saline, do not cause the clotting of m milk. The pigs in the farm become infected from the feed, among the most frequently found are S. typhimurium, S. derby, S. saintpaul, S. heidelberg, all of these can cause as imptomatic infections of greatpublic health importance. The laboratory diagnostic of S. cholerasuis does poorly in selective culture media, selenite is very inhibitory for this species. The objective of this study was to obtain and antigen from S. cholerasuis for the diagnostic of salmonellosis in pigs (5,6).
