Growth and nonlinear optical properties of HgGa_2S_4 and mixed chalcopyrite Cd_(0.4)Hg_(0.6)Ga_2S_4 & AgGaGeS_4 crystals have been reported. Sellmeier coefficients have also been developed from the measured refractive indices in all these crystals. Nonlinear laser device application has also been explored.
