In an ongoing research project sponsored by the Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft DFG until 2003, processes and grippers as well as retaining components are being systematically developed for the automated de-stacking of non-rigid textile parts. This paper describes the tasks and approaches as well as already developed solutions.
