摘要

The goal of the present study was to investigate the effects of Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) in children with: Nonbullous Impetigo, Folliculitis, Perianal Dermatitis, and Diaper Dermatitis superinfected with Candida, comparatively with classical methods. Forty-nine patients (1 mo.- 6 yr. of age) were randomized as follows: group 1 (25 patients) received laser therapy; group 2 (24 patients - control) was submitted to topical therapy and/or systemic antibiotics. Four GaAlAs diode lasers were used (630- 830 run wavelengths & 6 - 300 mW max. output power). The evolution of NK cells, CD_(4+) and CD_(8+) T-lymphocyte subsets was recorded. At the end of the treatment, 92% of patients in laser group and 62.5% of patients in control group displayed a positive evolution. LLLT induced a faster and effective healing process, reducing the antibiotherapy and the recurrences.
