Analyses of Progenies and Their Parents for Zea mays x Zea diploperennis Using GISH

摘要

In this study, Zea diploperennis (DP) introgressed segments in genomes of the tested maize lines were detected by both southern hybridization and genomic in situ hybridization (GISH) . In addition, the probes of the genomic DNAs, Cot-1 DNAs and non-Cot-1 DNAs in maize Lu 9 and DP were applied for comparative fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) with chromosomes of maize inbred line Lu 9 and DP.
