摘要

The ploidy level in Asian S. parviflora s. 1. was determined by chromosome counting and flowcytometory. Diploid (2n = 28) was determined for the plants collected from South Primorye (Russia) as previously reported. The plants collected from Seoul (Korea) and Ji-amsi (China) were tetraploid (2n = 56) as southwestern part of Japan. The plants from Sakhalin and North Kuril (Russia) were hexapliod (2n = 84) as northern part of Japan. These results suggest that the polyploidization from 2x to 4x was occurred in the continent and 4x immigrated to southwestern Japan through Korean Peninsula.
