This paper reports a novel application of acoustic plate mode (APM) sensor to monitor processes of tissue regeneration. Sensor was tested at four different environments, including air, alcohol, DI water, and glycerol. Calibration of the sensor under solution with different densities has also been carried out, and demonstrated a density sensitivity of 29.36 degree/g/cm~(3). In the application as a tissue sensor, C3H10T1/2 fibroblast cell lines from mouse embryo were incubated on the surface of the electrode-less sensor side. Initial test result showed a promising biocompatibility and feasibility of utilizing APM sensor for quantitatively cell status analysis in the vitro condition.
