Report from My Work, Methods and Results in Detecting the Acupuncture Points and Meridians of Special Relevance in Treating Energetic Deficiencies in the Horse

The existing atlases, created by Ervin Westermaier, Peggy Fleming and Emiel van den Bosch, to mention the three most important, are excellent tools in detecting the points of the horse. The points described in those atlases are used all over the worldby equine practitioners and are mainly based on the practise to detect and treat points of excess (Thoresen 2001). Detecting and treating the deficiency as the main cause of disease, is what we have been doing for many years, and in doing this we have found several new points in the horse. For example a painful hip will show itself by excessive GB-points around the hip, but also as deficient LV-points distal on the hind limb.
