The Veterinary Acupuncture Clinic at Helsinki University Animal Hospital: What can we look back on after 7 years?

The Helsinki University Small animal hospital started an acupuncture clinic as a part of 5 new "specialisation clinics" in the autumn 1997. After a very slow start we have now reached our goal: One full day a week where 2-3 students have compulsory acupuncture clinic studies; they come to follow the treatments of small animal patients given acupuncture. It is more of a service to clients and does not bring in the big money to either the vet nor the clinic.
