Electronic resource sharing and intellectual property protection in the digita environment

People have dreamed of seamlessly sharing information resources for many years. That dream has come true with the advent of modern electronics and network technologies. Sharing of information resources, especially electronic resources, has become people's consensus and a trend for our era. While electronic resource sharing is getting easier and easier, intellectual property protection is becoming more and more difficult. In some respects, this phenomenon raises new questions and challenges in regard to the traditional concept of intellectual property protection. This paper discusses the understanding and handling of relations between electronic resource sharing and intellectual property protection, and proposes measures to protect intellectual property in sharing of various electronic resources.
