Librarians spearhead 'webucation'

Web-based and enhanced teaching and learning have presented great new opportunities and challenges for the educational trade. Internet and related technological advances, as a pipeline for classroom instruction and course-related services, have transfigured the teaching industry in fundamental ways. Institutions can now easily reach students beyond geographic boundaries. Higher education can now move from "just-in-case" to "just-in-time" to "just-for-you" curricula giving learners a "one-step shop" for educational services.
