Installation and start working of a dosimetry planning system

摘要

In this work we installed and started up a new PTW-Freiburg Planning System to make dosimetry in a linear accelerator. The system had some problems to be operated and it consists of a MEPHYSTO software, which works with a water phantom and 2 ionization chambers. One of them is a reference chamber and the other one moves in a 3-dimensional axis. In this paper we present only the first phase, the elements of this equipment and the set up were already installed. However they have not been tested yet with the accelerator. We proved the equipment and software with a ~(60)Co unit.
