Thermal effects in manufacturing process - a review

Today throughout the world manufacturing processes are being used successfully to produce engineering components. During any known manufacturing process several processing parameters interact with each other in a complex manner and thus finally affect the mechanical and metallurgical properties of the finished products. Among several other parameters, the temperature plays a very important role during any manufacturing process and hence obviously drew attention of several research workers.
