Traumatic wounds can be very frustrating in our veterinary patients. Every wound is different and changes as it progresses through the stages of healing. Infection, however, remains a huge issue. With changes in husbandry, owner-compliance issues, andthe steady emergence of resistant bacteria, we constantly have to change the way we approach wounds.
