Polymeric micelles (PM) have recently emerged as a novel promising colloidal carrier for the targeting of poorly water soluble and amphiphilic drugs~1. We recently showed that pH-responsive PM composed of a random copolymer containing N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPA), octadecylacryla-te (ODA) and methacrylic acid (MAA) coudl be loaded with the photodynamic drug aluminum chloride phthalocyanine (AlCiPc) and substantially increased the activity of the later against EMT-6 mouse mammary tumor cells~2. In this study, the influence of the polymeric structure on AlClPc efficacy and biodistribution in tumor-bearing mice was evaluated.
